Uniform Policy
Polo Shirts (must have a collar)
- Navy blue
- Light blue

- Scholars may also wear the colored collared shirt of their grade level designated color
- Kindergarten: Yellow
- 1st Grade: Orange
- 2nd Grade: Red
- 3rd Grade: Green
- 4th Grade: Purple
- 5th Grade: Royal Blue
- Scholars may also wear the colored collared shirt of their grade level designated color
Pants (must be khaki or navy bottoms)
- Shorts
- Bermuda shorts
- Skorts (Length guidelines)
- Skirts (Length guidelines)
- Jumpers (appropriate polo must be visible underneath)
- Capris
- Pants
No leggings allowed, unless under a skirt, skort, or jumper
- Jean jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, and hoodies are permitted. Hoods and hats cannot be worn inside of the building or classroom.
On Dress Down Days:
- Clothing must not reveal undergarments. No see-through, sheer, crop top, or mesh attire
- Clothing should be modest in fit and size.
- Pants must be worn at the waist. Absolutely NO SAGGING of clothing where undergarments are visible.
- Tank tops must adhere to the 3 finger width rule (no spaghetti strap shirts and no racer back)
- Shorts and skirts must be mid-thigh length or knee length.
- No profane, discriminatory, drug-related, sexual innuendo, gang-related or derogatory words or images located on clothing.
- Shirts and dresses with low cut necklines at the front (showing cleavage) and/or back are not permitted.
- No off the shoulder, strapless, one-shoulder, or sleeveless shirts, dresses, or rompers
- Leggings and yoga pants must be properly covered by another garment (longer shirt, skirt, shorts, or dress)
** Every scholar must be in FULL uniform upon entering the school premises.
ARES Administration has the right to determine if attire is inappropriate for school or any school activity. Violations of the dress code could result in appropriate disciplinary action as outlined in the student code of conduct.
