Our Principal

Sharon Toguchi

Principal Sharon Toguchi is excited to join the ARES school community! Mrs. Toguchi is a Charlotte native and has served many different school communities in Charlotte as a teacher, dean of students, an assistant principal and now principal. She is most excited to serve this school community because she grew up in east Charlotte. 

Mrs. Toguchi earned an undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Winston-Salem State University and an undergraduate degree in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has a master's degree in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. 

Outside of school, Mrs. Toguchi loves reading and spending time with her husband, their two daughters, and her extended family and friends.
